Air Fibre is a fibre-grade connection delivered over the air instead of through the ground. We use state-of-the-art 60 GHz equipment — point-to-point (PTP) for a dedicated link to a single site, or point-to-multipoint (PTMP) where one high site serves several premises. Your data is still uncapped and unshaped, the managed wi-fi router is still included, and the same 24/7 SLA applies.

The 60 GHz band has far more spectrum available than the congested 2.4 and 5 GHz bands everyone’s wi-fi sits in, so it carries much more data and suffers far less interference from neighbouring networks. That is what lets an over-the-air link behave like a fibre line rather than like shared wireless.

Yes. 60 GHz needs a clear, unobstructed line of sight between our high site and your building — trees, walls and new construction in the path will block it. That is why every Air Fibre order is confirmed by a site survey before installation, so nobody pays for a link that cannot be delivered.

Home Air Fibre installation is R4500 month-to-month, R2500 on a 12 month contract, and free on a 24 month contract. Business Air Fibre is R5500, R4500 and free respectively.
